How does sublimation work?
The process begins with inkjet plotter printers and a technical type of paper designed purposely for sublimation. Sublimation happens when the coloured paper reaches 200° and the ink turns directly from solid to gas marking permanently the fabric.
Advantages of sublimation
- The sublimation process allows the water-based inks (eco-friendly and nontoxic) to penetrate permanently the fabric maintaining its elastic and transpirability properties. This precious quality adapts perfectly to the necessities of the sportswear business.
- Hand-touch the personalised product doesn’t show any difference between the coloured fabric and the original fabric; this guarantees that the sublimation process is the only one that will avoid fading colours during washes.
- You can personalise without limits, applying colours, shades, logos and images to your products.
